Another Friday is upon us and Logan #75, is getting ready to suit up for what right now seems like just one more game. But I know years from now looking back he will remember each one of these games with a mixture of joy and heartache. He doesn’t understand right now what he is building for himself and for his teammates. Memories…they are what is left after the lights are out, the crowds are gone, after school turns to work and close friends turn to people you see now and then. Our memories are how we define our life and they can be precious and painful. Some of his teammates will be looking forward to next season, some will move on to college and continue to play, and some will never take the field again. These days, these moments, under the lights, they are wonderful and full of life, they are the good times when the world doesn’t seem so dark a place. I have had the privilege of being involved with the team as the videographer for the games. I have gotten to watch every play, every triumph, and every disappointment. I have been blessed by my Lions as they play with heart and determination, never giving up and fighting for every inch. If they take that same fight with them into life, I know they will all do well.
